James Love, AKA DOC LOVE, and his 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo known as the Street Beast, joining the 405 in 2007 with the same car that he purchased and started racing with in 2003. Doc and the Street Beast have reached No. 1 on the 405 Top Ten List several times, even winning the first-ever Cash Days he entered in 2009.
Doc Credits all his success to the late great Monte Smith. Monte was a world-renowned Nitrous expert and one the reasons why Doc has remained true to running a Nitrous car to this day.
The street Beast is currently equipped with a Sonny Leonard 969ci Motor running 6 Nitrous Outlet kits. The3 speed Rossler Transmission, Neal Chance converter, and the Nitro Gears are enough for some earth-shattering 60-foot times, making this Monte Carlo one of the most-feared cars on the planet!
