Meet Farmtruck and AZN
Farmtruck
Farmtruck and AZN are the dynamic duo from Street Outlaws, known for racing their iconic ’70 Chevy Long Bed Truck. With its rusty paint, camper shell, dents, and a “ZZZZZ” license plate, this race-equipped sleeper is designed to catch everyone off guard.
Farmtruck’s love for trucks started at age 12, riding in his father’s 1956 Ford pickup. As a teenager, he’d stand between the fastest cars on Route 66, flashlight in hand, to start the races. After experimenting with several trucks that didn’t quite measure up, he came across an ad in Auto Trader Magazine that simply read, “Very fast truck for sale.” That truck turned out to be his legendary 1970 C-10 Chevy Pickup—deceptively fast and built to surprise.
The Farmtruck is a stock, reinforced chassis with the help from Hotrods to Hell in Redding, CA. QA1 Mod-Shocks keep the truck planted in the rear and allows the front the travel on the street. The original engine was a 502ci GM Crate engine that he eventually upgraded to Advanced Racing engine 632ci making well over 1000HP with two stages of Nitrous Expresso. Sunoco 116 octane Fuel is flushed down a Holley Dominator Carburetor.
The power is carried through a factory two-piece driveshaft, Rossler Turbo 400 and a Quick Performance 9" differential.
Rumblings resonate from custom Stainlessworks heads and Black Widow Muffs.
While Farmtruck and AZN enjoy competing in events, they’re even more passionate about “fishing.” Fishing involves luring unsuspecting racers into betting money by complimenting their cars and downplaying the Farmtruck’s true power. AZN takes the lead on smack talk, while Farmtruck handles the driving.
Together, this hilarious pair street races not just for the thrill but for the satisfaction of catching their opponents completely off guard.
AZN
AZN is Farmtruck’s best friend for over a decade, AZN has been the one to handle the smack talk while Farmtruck wins the races. AZN always has Farmtruck's back but is always itching to get behind the wheel of his own ride. After a failed attempt at racing lawn mowers it looks like AZN may have found a new sleeper to call his own.
“The Dung Beetle,” a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle that looks like ‘Dung’ on the outside, but underneath the hood is a 500HP Turbo-charged Subaru EJ25 Flat Four which runs on Pump Gas E85. Turbonetics 65mm Turbo spins the tunes. The conversion was commissioned by Misfire Motorsports in Edmond Oklahoma. The short block is an IAG Special with some headwork and a street cam. Haltech handles the Fuel Management which is tuned by Ben West, also from Edmond, OK.
The transmission is still a Bus Box Rancho 4-Speed with a man pedal on the floor. QA1 Double adjustable shocks keeps the sticky Mickey's planted to the ground. The windows are still electric and the wipers still work.
