Our good friends Emily and Aaron Reeves have gotten their own series on Motor Trend OnDemand, delightfully titled - Live, Love, Wrench.
We first heard of Emily and Aaron through their YouTube channel, Flying Sparks Garage. Hoping to talk shop with them one day, we finally got the opportunity to meet them in person at SEMA 2017 and had an instant connection with them.
The new series expands on what their YouTube channel is all about. You can watch along as Emily and Aaron take on tasks in their garage that don’t always work out as planned but are never run away from. The series really shines when you see them working together to take on projects and solve any obstacles that may come up to get the job done.
We have never claimed to be the best mechanics ourselves but we do not shy away from work and problem solving, which is why we connected with Emily and Aaron so well!
Best of luck with everything guys! We’ll be watching!!!

I enjoyed your program today (1-19-19) where you were replacing rear axle seals. I have been a mechanic for almost fifty years. I saw you had some trouble removing the seals. A little tip, use the axle shaft to pry the seal out—much easier.
Just an observation, from a 67 yr old former auto mechanic/ business owner. I like and enjoy the shows concept, what makes me want to stop watching is Emily cornily (is that a word? Should be) cornily stoping and posing, smiling. We get it, you’re pretty, lets not make it nauseating. More focus on the mission, less on vanity. IMO, it gets old fast.
Been a car guy for 60 years but I have never seen a show about a husband/wife team in a hard-ass garage shop. They are adorable and play off each other as if they actually like and respect each other with great affection and humor. Emily reminds me of a cuter Jennifer Nettles with an expressive and humorous face and crinkly shiny eyes that both convey brains and mischief. Aaron is one lucky wrench-twister. I am waiting for them to have sex in one of their episodes…….
She may think she is, but sexy she’s not.
Shows interesting though
Next time on oil pan gasket. Leave transmission in and driveshaft in to . Just try lifting motor as far as you can .then pull oil pan off , tight but should work . I did it on my 68 Chevelle.
