• For those who may not be familiar with Military tradition of flag direction:

When a flag is displayed on the side of something moving—traditionally a military uniform, vehicle, aircraft, etc.—the union (the blue field with stars) faces toward the front. That means:

• On the left side, the flag looks like the normal American flag: ⭐ → stripes.
• On the right side, it’s reversed: stripes ← ⭐.

Imagine an actual flag mounted on a pole while you’re moving forward: the stars stay closest to the pole/front, while the stripes stream backward in the wind.
